Principal Charged With Child Abuse After Paddling Students as Punishment

A principal in Oklahoma faces two felony counts of child abuse after parents told police their children suffered excessive bruises from being paddled at school. Paddling as punishment is a practice in place at Indianola Public Schools, but only used on students with permission from parents. In this case, the parents claimed it went too far.
